What happens if a map ends in a draw?
All matches of Overwatch 2 are played until one team has won 3 maps. Draws count as no game/no score, so move on to the next map with the same score as when you started the previous map. If no team has 3 wins after 5 maps have been played, start the map rotation over until one team has 3 wins.
If a team wins the first three maps in a sweep, do we continue playing maps 4 and 5?
No. Matches of Overwatch 2 are played until one team wins 3 maps. Any remaining maps not played do not figure into season standings or scoring, though if you wish, of course you may continue playing with the other team for practice.
